Reflecting the musical development of the opera, the “ouverture” is composed by lively Mediterranean citrus notes, while the heart unfolds with a passionate, typically Italian floral bouquet: an intoxicating mixture of rose and eucalyptus that holds the scene and grabs the spotlight.
